ANY1 HAD PROBLEMS WITH THERE SINGLE WIPER CONVERSION??

As the title says, i have had nothing but problems with my single wiper conversion it is a storm one, and my wiper linkaged keeps snapping i have now gone through 3 of them in a space of 6 months. has any1 else had the same problem??

yes i have just had my bracket welded back onto my firewall and its stil not working properly been told its the wiper coversions o guna go bk 23 2 wipers , btw mines a storm also

If you can afford it, go for the mono style one. The guys been trading for years and i can honestly say i\'ve never heard of a wiper playing up.

That it is you can claim a refund from Storm. 3 in 6 months, i\'d certainly demand my money back.

I Have had a mono 1 that broke so bought a storm 1, now the wiper linkaged arm breaks all the bloody time!! think i will go back to twin wipers!

Not being rude or nowt, but whoever is fitting your mono wiper ican\'t be fitting them correctly? 4 Single wiper conversions. Either the fitter is fitting them wrong, or something is bent down there thats not noticable.

I know of at least 4 Mono Style single wipers that have been used for over 4.5 years, without replacing the blade yet as well!!!

After 4 wipers, i\'d cut your losses and go back to two wipers on a smooth scuttle instead.

Its not the wipers im going through, they are fine, it the original linkaged arm that come standard on the corsa\'s.

Yeah thats what i mean.

Either theres a bent part down there that the fitter hasn\'t noticed, or the fitter isn\'t fitting th wipers correctly.

1-2 sets is understandable, but to go through 4 single wipers, all with the same problem........ Something is bent or its not being fitted correctly im afraid.

Like Daimo said, they don\'t have a habit of breaking.

If you\'re going through them at such a rate, then there\'s something else wrong either with the fitting or with other parts of the wiper system that\'s putting stress on the single wiper.
