Its not a choice of worth declaring it or not, u have to otherwise it will invalidate your insurance.
Basically once yoru licence gets sent off to dvla it goes thru the computer system so insurance companies know straight away if u have points or not. So if u dont declare them and u have an accident u lose out as u have no insurance.
It shouldnt go up by that much I dont think, prob about £50-£100. But worth paying that to still have insurance rather than invalidating your policy by not declaring it.

Either by speed cameras at side of the road. Or by a gun, where the police could be hiding at the side of the road and use a laser type gun to check your speed. They wouldnt stop u though if caught this way unless they seen u doing exsessive speeds. You would just get sent out a letter with your details etc and speed u were doing and name of the road time etc

3 points will put your insurance up about £10-£20. It they try £100 odd quid i\'d tell them to get stuffed
So many people have SP30\'s these days it hardly does anythign to your insurance.
I really wouldn\'t worry about it. Be cautious next time, and declare it otherwise it\'ll screw you.
And if you have been driving under 21 years, take it VERY easy as you only have 3 more left....
