door speakers

would i be able to run a set of uprated door speakers just off my head unit and not bother with n amp, if so wot size door speakers would fit on me car without to much altering?

yes and yes you can mount a set of either 13cm (5.25\") or 17cm (6.5\") but you need to watch the mounting depth as if there too deep thay will hit the window. you need to get a pair of mounts to put in aftermarket speakers but there only a tenner or so

ive just fitted some precision power componants to my doors, i bought the door collers to make it easier and fitted the origional speaker mounts too to give window clearance, add a bit of sound deadening and thare onto a winner!

i am looking to put some new speakers in my corsa too can you tell me what depth of speaker you have fitted to yours so i know how deep my speakers can be.
