astra gte engine "red top"

i looked at a brand new astra turbo today and the engine in it look the same as the old astra gte engine
\"red top\" does an7yone know if it is the same coz it loked well simalar part from the torbo of course.

the difference is the rocker cover & plug cover

newer X20 engine, the plug cover is in a straight line

C20 engine, its shaped like an L

so they are all quite simalar bet them new 2 ltr turbo engines would be mega fast in a corsa-b coz of there 6 speed box i mean they are awsome in the astra let alone a corsa b probs would be to light and spin out all over the place when putting your foot on the gas around a corner.!!!

the C20LET also has a 6-speed box, main reason is they would be on boost in 5th on the motorway, so the 6th gear was added for cruising, as then can do 70mph before it hits boost, so better economy.
