Air filter cleaning
How do you clean a foam air filter, i have a ram air induction kit, and it\'s filthy, what can i use to clean it?

shove it in the washing machine [br]the ram air filter if i remember comes apart quite easily,so you can take the foam piece off the actual cone??? correct me if im wrong!
in that case,just give it a wash in a bucket of water and allow to dry

You\'re best to get hold of a cleaning kit from Ramair or even a Pipercross one will do the job.
You need some kind of degreaser to dissolve any crap in the filter and get out the old filter oil. If you use something too harsh it could weaken the glue holding the filter together.
The cleaning kit will also include a bottle of oil to re-apply to the filter.
Pipercross part C9000 will do the job - available from your local Halfords

Yes, the rest of the instructions would have been included with the C9000 - I wanted him to go and buy it to learn all the secrets
