I have got a fli 15\" twin sub 2400W and was wondering what would be the best amp to run it off of i was thinking about the fli 800s any ideas ???
Also does anyone know what RMS sands for and what does it mean???

RMS stands for route mean squared its the true power of audio. pmpo and max power are just the theoretical peak output so say a head unit is 4 x 50w the true rms figure would be around 4 x 19.5w
had a quick look on the fli website and the twin 15\" is 2400w peak and 2 x 400w rms in an ideal world you would want a mono block amp to run the subs the fli loaded 1000m is the largest amp that fli do and it\'s only 500w @2 ohms Rms so is a bit underpowered to run the subs
It depends on your budget what amp you get but your looking £200-250 upwards for a half decent mono block that will run 800-900w rms
