just found this nikkai amp on the maplins website and they go at only £60 a piece.
just wondering if anyone\'s had any experience with these and could give me a rough idea how good they are. cheers

there quality not !! cheap and cheaper chinese tat £20-30 more will buy you a half decent amp if you on a tight budget JBL 75.4 or 75.2 amps are good value for money with decent power output and resonable sound
funny enuff i have a kenwood sub and JBL 75.4 up for sale £70 ono as new never installed. i would prefer colection but i may well post it. have a look in the for sale section on the site

thay arnt to bad better than some of the old tat on the market the internals are very well built for the price better than anythink mutant could come up with now there a peice of carp-ola
anyhoo i have got a new install planed and prob going to run a 2/3 way active frontend with rainbow speakers and either alpine or genesis amps not to sure yet

i\'ve been looking at the alpine MRP-T220 aswell, is this one any good for the money?

yes there very good for the money the MRP-T220 is now being discontinued in the next few months can be had for £80 (some on ebay for a £150 + whats a rip off). The MRP-F250 is it replacement and is much improved and can be had for £125 new. If you want a bit more power go for the MRP-F450 @ £190 thay also do the matching sub amps MRP-M450 @ £110 or the MRP-M650 @ £190
