gluing some standard backs on sounds like a good idea, have a walk down to the local scrappy and nick i mean buy yourself a set so your not hacking up the ones on your car and try some 2 part epoxy instead of super glue if you mix it right its alot stronger and has some flex in it so you dont have to worry about the glue snapping if you catch it on something

Or chop the backs of leaveing the bulb holder of course
then use a fine bead of clear silicone to stick them to your wings........... no water get in that way and will peal off easy enough if you ever want to remove them

you went to all that trouble and you dont even like them oh well, i dont think they look too bad but then that pic isnt the best in the world so they might actually look a bit bad
