Hi everyone, just a little (big) question. I know its cheap and almost embarrasin but this is the sub and amp package i have as i got it second hand for only 40 quid
http://www.motor-world.co.uk/outdoor_wo ... od_id=7932
Ive had it set up in my car for ages with no problems but ive just realised its 2 channel. At the moment my sub is \'bridged\' across the two outputs (+ and -) which i believe increases power.
However, i have some Jbl Gto 6x9\'s in my parcel shelf and some kenwood 13cm co-axials in the front door cards which are not amped up.
The front speakers: http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/produc ... /2958.html
I just wonderd whether it was worth wiring the sub to 1 output and then either wiring my 6x9\'s or front speakers to the other. Or would the amp not be powerful enough?
If it is possible with the speakers is it just a simple case of running speaker wires from the front of the car to the back and joining both + and - from the left and right side of the car together and then wiring to the amp? and just leaving the old plug they used to go into alone?
I also remember messing with the switches on the amp so that only bass will come through the sub? will i have to change the settings back and does anyone know what they should be on for this setup?
thanks

Re: Amp wiring
Hi, if I were you, I would leave the amp/sub package as it is and run the fronts & rears off the head unit (if it is capable). If you really are after more quality/power then buy yourself a four channel amp with Hi-pass filters built in. There are loads to choose from, so I would get an ICE mag and/or talk to your accessory shop and ICE dealer about your budget and requirements.
Hope this helps, Rusty.
