As far as i know, you need pre-outs for the RCA cables for connecting the amp. If it doesnt have pre-outs, im sure it wont have the capability to run an amp :)

you can ad a sub/amp to your system but you will need a line level converter to give you a pair of rca\'s(preouts) or...

most amps have speaker level inputs but you need to look at what your buying first

whats your budget for the amp/sub/wiring kit ? ? ?

I think that a dictionary of the english language would be a far more beneficial investment than \"avin a sub n a amp\". >:(

But, if you insist on purchasing \"a sub n a amp\" i would strongly advise against wasting any of your hard earned cash on anything made by sony.

Having \"a sub n a amp\" defeats the point of having 6x9\'s as the subs air displacement will cause them to sound worse and more than likely pop/blow/whatever you want to call it them eventually.

Best bet is get a good headunit, a good set of components up front and a sub in the back if you must. Ive just gone for a head unit and components up front with no sub although i did use to have big install with 2 subs 4 channel amp and power cap and it slowed the car down too much for my liking so i sold it for lots of money :D
