greatest thing ive ever found out. probably months or years after everyone else has as im quick like that.
never actually had a monday-friday 8-5 job before so always been able to go to the dvla or local post office and tax a car on a weekday. as id expect, a governmnt agency isnt open when most of the working people have time off. mate told me to try it online as id just got a new style mot a few weeks before. its well easy. dont think ill tax a car any other way now.
just wish i found out about such things a lot sooner like everyone else.

Re: online car tax
Well even though I get the new style MOT, I still can't tax the Omega online - I had to go the post office
Also, I got a fine and summons through for my old old OLD red Corsa last week... which was scrapped and confirmed by the DVLA as scrapped about 4 years ago??
go figure...

Re: online car tax
bizarre, i had to use a number off the v5 and mot to actually tax it, according to the site it says there is a number on the reminder, but i couldnt find it.
still, far easier than going into town, parking up and walking somewhere and paying in cash i guess. for lazy people like myself, perfect

You should begin a mail-order dealership of such plant life... would be interesting to see the legalities of such an enterprise
well I just got back from Asda, went to buy milk, and a 360 1 month Live subscription... instead I come back with a copy of Malrats which cost me £2.84... bargain!
Checked online just now, and well... Mallrats wasn't listed, and on Play.com its £6.99 delivered...
So tonight, walking + driving == win!
