Update:
I\'ve now got the Z18XE.....but, its a mess, the loom is just a poo of sensors!, no aircon pump, no power steer pump, no exhaust manifold, no ECU, etc.
So, now it\'s going under the house for another project (& when I can afford an aftermarket MOtech ECU/loom) & i\'m rebuilding the 1.4. I just can\'t afford to pay my mortgage, live & build up bessie with the 1.8 atm.

Bessies back on the road, I finally fitted the Calibra brakes (with Brembo Zeros, couldnt find Greenstuff) I\'m just having a few problems with the brake pedal being too solid atm, a bleefing session tomorrow should sort it Im also gonna buy some carpet dye tomorrow to dye the carpet, trim the a-pillars in fake leather & look through the phonebook for some retrimmers in my area to try & get the seats & doortrims done in the week.

Update: I got it back on the road for a few days, before the main powersteering pipe moved onto the headers & burnt the headerwrap I had wrapped around the pipe & then straight through the pipe....so now it\'s back off the road & i\'m getting either the headers rebent or new ones & a radiator mounting panel (which was bent by the last owner & never really fixed) while it\'s been off the road i\'ve been working on the interior, finally fitted the carpet I bought months ago, got the doorcards retrimmed & sprayed up some panels. Oh yeah & the seats would cost $350+ each seat to retrim them so i\'m gonna buy some black Autotechnica recliners instead.
Heres the latest shots.

Bessie's not really a project now, im just getting her back on the road to be a spare vehicle/run-around.
This is Remeris btw, I had to make another account the new database doesnt like my email so I cant reactivate it.
I do have a few updates though, I bought a new headunit (a USB capable Clarion one), finished off painting the trim, changed the bumper to a pre-97 one & bought myself a different project.....
all will be revealed in my next thread.

Finally got Bessie back on the road, just a dodgey fix for the time being but i'll eventually get around to making a bracket to hold the powersteering hose back away from the exhaust. This is how it stands now.....

As i've already said though she's now no longer a project so i'll just do enough to keep her running.

Well, she's back on the project list again...i'm currently rebuilding the 1.4 out of the 5 door (along with an SRi multi-point head) for Bessie, it'll just be a stock standard rebuild,im not gunning for high BHP or anything just reliabilty.
