Yes they really are as good as they quote. The inlet on these engines is extremely restrictive and very long. There are several companies which supply the inlets and there are also copies to be found on Ebay & in the for sale sections of many Vaux & Corsa websites. Typical result with inlet, exhaust & filter is 125-130bhp depending on the rolling road.

Do some research before buying, while they all increase the power some of them make the car quite peaky, where as others give a more even spread of power and torque throughout the reve range. Supposidly the best is the Lexmaul, as it keeps the torque & provides a good final bhp figure.

I'm not at PVS this year.

Relocating the air filter is a good idea if you aren't going to get an inlet. I think all the inlets move the throttle body to the bother side, so you don't need to relocat the air filter. IIRC the only one which keeps it is on the side its on is the Lexmaul. Lots of info on this on Corsa Sport. :)

The inlets do give good gains, but as said above they can make the car peaky. The Mantzel opens the car up at 4.5K and above. They are a hoot to drive with one fitted. Make a hell of a difference.

I have one for sale in the classifieds.
