Re: Project: Bessie
Made a few changes in the past few days (i've had time off work because productions slow);
changed the undercoated bonnet with the bonnet off the 5 door, the undercoated one was aftermarket & didnt fit right.
changed the black inner handles for grey ones out of the 5 door
delocked the passenger-side door
fitted the swaybar lowering blocks I bought (still needed a nut on top to further lower it)
fixed the front bumper to the body better than it was previously
fitted the sub ive had sitting around for a year & a Kenwood KAC-5203 amp
got my windscreen washers working (double-sided tape is really useful stuff)
I've still gotta change the drivers-side & back-door handles, take out the ratty black dash & replace with one out of a GSi I bought a while back, get the engine out & weld the chassis strengthening plates then respray the engine bay in chassis black, fit my new inlet manifold & lowered springs, get the bodywork up to scratch then a respray.....still a long way to go.

A few more purchases:
GSi brake discs as the ones on the van are warped.
A strutbrace that wont fit because the van has air-con, it'll now be going on the Camira once I buy one in along with the Autotechnica seats & Astra 16" wheels.

Re: Project: Bessie
the z16xe 8v isnt a corsa engine most likely an astra, mkIV, then i think its a z16xel, and got about 99bhp standard sure its a z16 n not an x16xe, could be out a corsa and has about 104bhp.
