Post by LeKiffeur »

Hello,

Here my project, which succeeds Corsa B X16XE

It is Corsa B GSi, 1.6 16v with this time Ci a C16XE, it added up 210.000 km

It with the clim and the rétros élecs, I was bought in Parisian suburbs in August 2006 per 450 €

Image

The goal is to give it to nine, one starts with with dimensions mechanics, the kneecaps of directions, of suspensions, the bearings, the Cardan joints, all is in a sad state, and with an aim of setting out again on good bases, all these parts will be replaced, level rear wheel-axle unit, it goes recovered the rear wheel-axle unit which is today on Corsa B X16XE.

Dimensioned driving, the C16XE was completely dismounted to give it to nine, and to discover what it really has….

Here the engine once dismounted and with ground

Engine

Thus to date, I must recovered the driving bottom of Tigra which was prepared, with forged pistons, reinforced rods, and a reduced and balanced low driving crew, the segments and the bearings are new...

On this driving bottom, one goes posed a cylinder head which will remain of origin put aside of the camshafts Shrick and within the competences of valves reinforced because the interrupter will be close to the 8000tr/min

The admission will be one 4 butterflies from Dbilas with a large air flow not yet to date given...

Level exhaust, one 4/1 from Laughed with an exit modidée in 63,5mm

An Africa tube in 63,5mm that I had make make to measure

Interior

The interior will remain of origin, I very dismounted to transfer the rust which I find, and also to reduce the case as much as possible, and after one goes up very to have an aspect of origin

The wheel is changed, it is a Raid of 32cm
Image

Adjustable/tilting bacquets
Image

The meter given to zero considering Corsa will be remade with new
Image

I envisaged a mano of you empérature of oil and oil pressure, but I found another idea, you will see a little later…

If not level weight, I very dismounted the case to transfer the tar and insulator

Level profit of weight, one replaces the direction assitée by a manual direction
Image

One attacks a wing to make a fibre mould, for then making a copy
Image

Here the first finished mould, which will be then given up, the result not being with the hoped height, one needs a beginning, it well was my first time
Image
Image

Here the mould of the house, because to withdraw the sliding roof which had been added, it is necessary to change the house which is welded of origin, therefore level cost and level weight, one goes tried to do it out of fibre
Image

Here the once glossed mould, which await its resin and its fibre

Outside

External level, it will have no change there

The only things are a lowering, which is for me rather to improve the handling, like the rims and the brakes, and not for esthetics

The wings will be out of fibre, the cap also and the house also, but no air intake or other, it will be copy of origin for a discrete look

There will be can be some changes, but nothing malicious, I raise the question to remove the indicators about the wings, to paint the handles of doors

Thus the news for today

This morning upright 8h, one gave the camshafts of origin on Corsa X16XE, them to have the available one for gone up on the cylinder head of the C16XE, one also made the distrib, pump water and draining/rinsing of the coolant circuit...

During this time, a guy came to make me the weldings on the cases, the plate stiffeners to the front one

Here the with dimensions passenger
Image
Image

And the with dimensions driver
Image
Image

It also also welded me plates onto the slides of origin to adapt to it the bacquets, I started to bore the holes, I would deposit to them so that they finish me the holes, because my drilling machine with too much evil
Image

Here an overall picture of the interior with my wheel which is finished going up
Image

Next stage, to finish the fibre house, to pose it, give the wheels and to take it along in the carriage-builder so that it makes me a veil in the cockpit like with the driving compartment, and that it remakes me something of clean and of durable in the container of battery
