Hello, and greetings from Finland
I´m a new user and I hope I don´t post to wrong sections....
I´ve been thinking to build a new(used) engine to my -96 opel corsa, using following parts
- x14xe engine block
- 1.2 ohc (corsa a / Kadett?) cylinder head (lowered, slighty modified exhaust/intake ports, largened combustion chamber)
- 1.3 camshaft (atleast to begin with)
- Irmscher 1,3 intake manifold with 1,8 engine injectors and "throttle body"
- Engine management from a 1,8 to start with (migh change it)
- Exhaust manifold selfmade (anyone got dimensions for a relatively good 4-2-1 manifold?)
I´ve also got the the irmschers eninge management box but beacause my car is "low emission" it has to have a cat and I´ve heard that the cat wouldn´t live long so i´ll start with the 1,8 management.
Do anyone have a oppinion to this? I´ve got all the parts I need from earlier years so I don´t need to buy anything but a couple of gaskets.
what do you thinkof this projekt
