I know there are loads of threads on 6x9s. I just wanted to ask something relatively specific.
I currently have only a set of components as front door speakers, and I am thinking of buying an alpine SWD1600 for under my passenger seat. I do not have any speakers in the rear of my corsa at all.
I was wondering if, as the sub won't be in the boot of the car, 6x9s in the parcel shelf would still conflict with the sub? As I thought having the sub under the passenger seat might leave the rear of the car a bit empty of bass.
I do like to have some rear fill as far as audio is concerned.
So my question is basically, in conjunction with that sub under the passenger seat, would having 6x9s in the parcel shelf, or some new 5.25 coaxials to go in the rear speaker slots sound better?
6x9 question...

Re: 6x9 question...
6X9 on the parcel shelf is just asking for the car to be broken into,
i have always liked the theme of keeping the car standard looking but just upgrading what is normaly there.
i personaly would go for the 5.25 coax in the rear speaker slots, would suggest getting 3way tho and atleast 100w each as my rear speakers buzz there cahoonas off as they are standard.
and placing the sub under the passangers seat wont be a problem.
