just had a few thoughts

Post by richardhhha »

as in title, i am saving up to have a c02let put in my B

im just wondering, would i need to have coil overs or would a sport shock set do just aswell?

im thinking a 40mm drop

like these? what do peeps think is best out of these?

Gmax 40mm
Spax 40mm
Apex 40mm
Venom 04mm
Vipertech 40mm
Hottuning (from ebay) coilovers

something like these or has anyone got any suggestions?

Thanks

Obv. coilovers better.

But my 2.0l 8v is on fk shocks and springs (40mm) and drives fine. But would suggest buying GSI springs, front will sit a bit higher. Mines abit low on ones designed for a smaller engine.

so best getting them for a GSI as they will hold the weight better? and when the engine is in they will sit just right?

my main problem is the price of coil overs they are so bloody expensive.

As I understand it should sit better.

That was my problem, infact the FK shocks and springs were the cheaped I found, at £125 on specisl at LMF, which is why I didn't get GSI one's.
