temperature display not workin on centre display

hi guys
does anyone know why my temperature reading is not woking on my centre display, where the date and time is. all i have is the 'c not an actual number

probably just the sensor is damaged,
my m8z astra did the same, new tempreature sensor should solve it

Hi,

I have got the same problem on my 96 1.4 Corsa. The MFD shows --.-- I have bought a new sensor, checked all fuses, tried another MFD that works correctley on another car.
I have read on the net that the display shows --.-- when the sensor is not connected.
Has any one any idea what the problem could be.
