LACQUER IS PEELING ON ALLOYS

I recently bought some 17s for my corsa b 5dr (tyres 205/40 x 17)
loads of posts asking if theyll fit... and in answer to them. Yes. if iv got 2 people in the back they rub, but i rarely av ppl in the back.

any way. these alloys are about a year old. and the usual wear and tear is evident. but the lacquer is starting to peel off the alloys, anyway of slowing this down or getting it sorted for good?

If its just the laquer peeling a touch up pen form halfords or similar will slow laquer peel, may be even the the other halfs clear nail polish. Or else full referb at estimated £40 to £60 a wheel.
