hey,
posted about an incident a few weeks ago where my eml came on then went off again during driving...
on a journey in and out of glasgow today the light came on and off 5 times and the car was runnin like a big turd, kept on dropping below idle n making the car almost stall...
i have been informed by a reliable source that issue will most likely be caused by a faulty lambda sensor? does this sound correct?
if so, how easy is it to replace? i have been told its placed in the manifold - is that correct?
cheers

i dnt know bout the problem, but the lamba sensor easy to remove, find you self a suitably sized spanner undo the lamba sensor, once out of the manifold trace the sensor to the multiplug, and once this is done reverse the process to put in a new sensor, i believe this is the rite thing to do
hope this helps LCG

in the haynes manual it says you have to remove it and refit it with the engine at normal running temperature.
so make sure u know what your doing before u start so ur not having to stop and mess about figuring it out.
also the manifold will be red hot obviously so be carefull u dont hurt yourself.
id wear some gardening gloves or something if i where you just incase you catch yourself on the manifold.

do it at normal running temp you will need to go hospital for the burnes you will recieve, just ondo itwith a 22mm spanner when cold, put a new one in and run it up.
