Ryt so i gota a crappy corsa 1.5Td and the battery has started playin up so i done and alternator check and it was fine but i was still runing flat so i went round the car with an volt meter and to my suprise the glow plugs had a constant supply ?? ?? ?? so i checked the relys but no luck still a supply does any 1 have any ideas?? i was thinkin of putin it on a switch but 80 amps is quite hefty so can sum 1 help

glow plugs should be on for about a minuit after you switch the ignition on, if they are still the problem i would go for a glow plug relay as the cable you would need for a switch would be pritty hefty.

Ye i no but there is alwyas a supply to it even when the cars not started and the key isnt in the ignition, i tried the relys but it was still the same problem but i might of missed it do you have any idea which rely it is? is it possible that the rely has welded itself together making a permanent supply?
