it depends on what side skirts your fitting, standard gsi side skirts they have jacking covers and can be removed, but you should be able to jack the car up with side skirts on just use a slightly different point if ur sides block the original point, other wise ur stuck if u get a flt after u fit ur side skirts, so id say u can still jack them up 1 way or another.

hi, thanks for replying, they are from ebay, called the 'm look' style? i have eyed them up to the car and i think it is possible to just get to the jacking up points, will try and figure out how to add pictures to this to try and show a little better, also, what would be the best way to fit this to the car, either tigerseal, or by drilling into the chassis and then self-tappers into the chassis to hold it at each end, or any other ideas, thanks, andy

Both ways of fitting are just as good, on my first corsa i used tigerseal and i cant say how long they lasted cos i wrote the car off a week later, self tapping is just as good an idea, tiger seal is better in one way that u can just pull them off with a bit of cheese wire if u ever want to put back to standard, where as the self tapping will leave holes when u remove them.

You can jack it up, i can get mine up easily and mine are low just got to take abit of care while doin it, they will proberly bend slightly on the jack but just take your time to make sure you dont crack them

cheers guys for the info, i tried eyeing up the side skirt onto the car in the day this time and then ralised that it doesnt bolt onto the bottom of the chassis, but between the door like seal/line thing, covering up some of the chassis lol, rather than underneath, what a dummy i am lol, no wonder i cudnt think how to get to the jacking up points, duh lol
