ive got 6x9's and a sub, ive got good bass and and good high, but im lacking in the midrange and when the volume is turned up theres bass and very high pitched sounds but nothin in the mid what can i use to get this better, also i aint got a clue how to set up the amp so will be more than likely the problem, i havent upgraded the front speakers, is it worth it and what should i be looking for?

I upgraded my front speakers to 3-ways and disconnected the doorhandle tweeters.
This meant that the top came through on the door speakers but there was enough refraction for it to be fairly clear on the mid aswell.
You can buy an in-car-eq for a bit which means you could boost the mid. Just be very careful and dont push the EQ to much otherwise you'll just damage your speakers.
Would deffinately reccomend doing the doors first.
