Re: well well well 12v project
just spent this morning removeing an entire wireing loom from a 1.4-8v n reg corsa, to swap into this, the 12v loom in this has been altered for tb's in running injection and it just isnt tidy enuff for me, so ill strip out what i dont need on this loom, heater, radio stuff etc then fit it in, also got a dash as ill be using it to hold gauges and switch gear where the heater console used to be
will have a almost std tune, reliable 2ltr, will be left bodywork wise totally std, a set of grp wings and bonnet may appear, along with perspex windows
here are some pics from today
the scrappy i was at was queensferry car and commercial breakers, they seem to have a decent stock of corsa's each time i go there, 01244811109
thought you guys could do with another source or corsa bits
the donor car that the dash and loom came from
new dash home and ontop of the shell "was raining" so was working on it in the garage
new loom in rear wheel
front end
old loom stripped out
couple of goodies i purchased
front end stripped down
gotta sort this then weld on strength plate kit
cant wait to get the grinder on it tomorow weather permitting

Adam
Don't suppose you have any of following bits lying around?
For my 1.4 SRi stolen/recovered rebuild... I know its been going on for 4 years now! lol, but after getting it nearly ready to go back on the road I split with Kirsty, bought her an M Reg SRi and have ended up using my B as a donor car to keep hers on the road, now in need of the following,
Radiator (includion hoses)
Clocks (pref with 85-90K on them)
Standard Air Filter Housing
Steering Column, including ignition barrel and key!
Let me know?
I'll be up your way at the beginning of July hopefully, visiting my parents in Chester and then a 'lady friend' of mine in Birkenhead!
