Post by tel_boy »

I dont know alot about cars but i managed to change oil and filter on my own, fit a cone air filter and back box of which im proud of doing but just where is the fuel filter and how do i change it? although its only a 1ltr eco tec, how can i furter enhance the power from it? and is there a straight through section for my model to get rid of centre box. any help much appreciated.

unsure about the fuel filter, but changing it wont give you a performance boost!

since the 1.0i was the econmy model designed to be cheap to run, i doubt you will see top side of 60bhp
and becides a full exhuast system and a airfilter, thats about all you can do with them
easiest way to make accelrate faster is make it lighter but still wont increase your top speed
quickest way to get a huge performance boost would be swap the engine for a 1.6 or a redtop
sorry cant be any more help pal

that said i had a friend who spent LOADS on his corsa B 1.0i
it was turbocharged the works could pretty much nail anything off the line but the top speed was just over 100mph
used to 0-60 in about 5 seconds tho!
it blew up....
