got my gsi bumper sprayed finally and put it on but the bumpers have turned out darker than the rest of the car.
im gonna give them another go or do you think i should spray them black.
what colour do you think would be best.
its a burgandy corsa(satin red) with graphite grey alloys.
do you think i should redo them the same colour or do them black, what would look best

well you could go for a chrome undercoat and get it done at a paint specialists, but would cost a fair whack, but if u get it done black metalic like corsa c black, thats pretty shiny.

Re: what colour bumpers
yer wet sanding is quite tricky, weve got alot of old bumpers that have been dumped where ma mate works and weve been practicing with the spray gun he just bought, with compressor he uses at work, tell u its hard to get a decent finsh but the last one we did was looked real good but it was for a rover 400 old style looks better than rovers paintwork out of the factory, not hard like. but u can only get better with practice. iv been thinking of goin to college to learn spraying techniques and stuff try and become one for a living cos there hourly rate is just as good as a plumber!!

I've got a burgundy 3 door too with black bumpers, thinking of putting calibra alloys on and spraying them black and fitting black dtm/M3 style mirrors, subtle I think but effective......
