bulbs

the heater lights on my corsa b have blown does anyone know what type of bulb I replace them with, according to haynes they are 12v 2w. I have found several capless types nos 286, 501, 288. these seem to be only 1.2w or 1.7w, what bulbs/LEDs have othes used? regards Dave

i use LED's just baught a set of ebay and changed them all, nothings gone wrong really with them.

Either of the 286 or 288 will do the job they are both unmounted small capless bulbs if i remember right.

I have the same problem. Both lights behind the heater controls have now gone and am looking to replace them. I've read up on the internet that it's not an easy job but is possible. The only thing is that i'm unsure on what bulbs to buy as I've read up that they are "uncapped" and they can be replaced with coloured LEDs.

My ideal scenario would be to fit Blue LED's behind the heater control's and while the dashboard would be out to replace the bulbs in the speedo to blue LEDs.

My only doubt is on which ones will fit?

Please if anyone knows any places/websites where I can get the replacment bulbs/LEDs from that would be great!

Hi guys, last weekend i changed the LED's behind my heater controls for Xenon wide angle LED's and they look the nuts,lol.

if anyone wants help on how to remove all the heater controls and fot the LED's and where to buy them just send me a message on here and i will give you my msn address (just easier to discuss things on there)
