Re: driving test
good luck! i passed first time with 3 minors and i just made sure i kept calm the whole time and remembered everything my instructor had said to me. do everything by the book, dont get cocky but make sure your confident. remember you dont start learning to drive properly before youve passed your test.
good luck again
good luck again

Re: driving test
i took my test in barnsley, but aparntly wakefield is quite easy
i failed my 1st 2 tests and from what i remeber my intructor telling says if i fail this one (my 3rd go) to book it at wakefield, since most of it is out of town driving anyway, long quiet national speedlimit roads!
goodluck pal i know how hard it is to pass these days

Re: driving test
i passed mine first time in sutton-in-ashfield, and was quite easy really, just need to be confident that ull pass but not over confident and always remember ur mirrors haha, i got talking to the instructor and kept him talking, i clipped a kerb aswell but didnt go up it so that was classed as a minor even tho everyone else i no whos caugh a kerb has been classsed as a major, guess i was lucky.
on a worse note this monday just gone my mate took his test for the 8th time and failed again, hes a really good driver when hes with his dad but when he gets in the examiners car i think his nerves go to pot, hes tried it at about 5 different locations aswell, so dont be to disheartened if u do fail first time round.

Re: driving test
Unless you're female and wearing a mini skirt it's next to impossible to pass whether you are female or male in Ipswich, they've been investigated severals times for it, after 2 failed attempts at Ipswich because of bs reasons I tried in Bury and passed first time with 4minors and drove worse then I did in Ipswich
But yeah, be cool, keep your eyes open and DON'T PANIC!
Failing your driving test wont hold you're life back any so don't worry about failing, and admitting you made a mistake usually gets you a minor rather then a major...

Re: driving test
Passed my car driving test first time Years ago St Helens
Passed my LGV1 with 4 minors 6 years ago in Leyland
Passed my PSV1 first time, 5 minors 4 Years ago in Bredbury.
If you feel as though you have made a mistake, don't let it get to you, forget about it, it will only distract you more if it plays on your mind.
Watch your speed,
If you try to enjoy the test, the time will seem to go faster.

Re: driving test
best advice for a driving test has to be, treat it like a normal lesson, otherwise you panic and f**k it up haha, i agree with 2 hands on the wheel but dont forget you get a minor for too slow and get 5 of those and its a fail haha, i was lucky with my test cos im in the military so i started having lessons on the monday morning and i was passed by wednesday afternoon lol

Re: driving test
I passed 2nd time at Glasgow Shieldhall, considered to be one of the hardest test centres in Scotland..
started off so badly, i forgot to unlock the car before i opened the bonnet and the alarm started going off! had me propper panicing!
just have to stay relaxed and confident tho and you'll be fine!

Re: driving test
passed 1st time. just relax and watch your speed. and like mentioned if you think you have made a mistake forget it and carry on as if you haven't, don't let it distract you. also, when checking your mirrors make sure you move your head so they know you doing it! sounds stupid but if you just move your eyes, they don't always realise you doing it!
good luck.
good luck.

haha i did that too, like propper turned my whole body round when checking the blind spot etc, making it really obvious you're a safe driver
