you will have to get a multimeter on it and see if its fried,
or try another hed unit,
take it back and buy mine i have 1 for sale!

another suggestion would be to make up some temp wires and put them to the battery to see if the head unit does anything, would suggest putting a fuse in this but you shouldn't need it cos of the one in the head unit, and you'll only be connecting it for a second to see in the display comes on.
