well in theory you would have to remove the MFD and then have alook at the plug and cut off the wire to pin 8 (should be a red/grey wire)
that way when you swich your hedunit on, the info display wont recive a signal to swich the date off
in theory anyway, i have no way of testing it, could warn u it might break ur MFD

Re: Tripple Info Display (TID or MFD)
I cut the one from the loom that came with the head unit and connected the remote lead to the switch the amp. mine is an old head unit with only one switch lead, most new items hve two so there is no need to cut the one to the car, cos there is one loose to connect to.Octane2097 wrote:how does your hed unit turn ur amp on if u cut the remote lead?
the wire im on about is behind the info display it has a 12pin plug
This is the only thing I can think that I've done to make the difference, as I have not looked at diagrams. It was just an assumption that if I removed the swich lead to connect to the amp, that nothing else would be affected, as they are usually only there for electric ariels which obv aren't on a
corsa.

Re: Tripple Info Display (TID or MFD)
all it is really is there will be a wire running from the standard h/u to the mfd
you will have cut that 1 chanses are it matches up on a ISO loom to a remote for amp
