Post by fastlad21 »

does anyone no if i wud be able to fit a 1.2 16v twinport from a corsa c?

if so how difficult wud this be?

mate, anythings possible if youve got the money and the paience to do it.

now then, a z12xep could be fitted but it aint worth it mate, too much hassle and money

your best bet would be to get a x14xe out of a b and fit it or get yourself a c16xe from a gsi

i seriously wouldnt bother with fitting a c engine to a b cos for the power gains youd get it just isnt worth it

id try for a 1.4 16v at 90bhp should offer the best power to cash ratio
shouldnt be too much increase ont he insurance ether but might be worth getting some quotes before u change the engines
(even if you change from a 1.2 8v to a 1.2 16v)

if ur not going to tell the insurnace about the swap then u might aswell go the whole hog and find a c20xe 2 liter 16 valve
