Removing Springs
One of my mates told me that it was very difficult to remove the front shocks compared to the rear ones, why is this? and how much would i be looking at to get it done at a garage roughly? cheers

Re: Removing Springs
its harder but i wouldnt say any more difficults
its not harder to actualy remove the shocks the hard bit is taking the spring off the damper
since the rear suspention spring and damper is seprate its easier
to take your front ones off 1st remove ur wheel, then thers 2 bolts that hold it on to the steering
then theres 3 bolts in the engine bay and its away it should drop free

Re: Removing Springs
BE CAREFULL WITH THE FRONT SPRINGS!!!!
the front springs are compressed and can do some serious damage if you dont knw what your doing.
if your taking the springs off the front shockers then you NEED some spring compressors!!!!
i know your on about shockers but i just thought id give you the heads up, and im sure the work your wanting to do will involve removing the springs or fitting some otherwise why would you take off the front shockers.
tbh though, i wouldnt pay a garage to do it cos with a bit of mechanical knowledge and with the right tools its easy enough.
