Plz Help..
Car drives lovely in good weather but when it decides to rain or its damp my car looses alot of power and judders alot like im going to stall!! thought it might had been the spark plugs but their fairly new and was all done by a mechanic i know so im sure he knew what he was doing, anyone else had this problem or know what it might be and how i can sort it out??? Would really appreciate any help cheers. Mazza

Hmm, well when its damp or warm, the air is denser. Mine slows down in the hot or wet weather too, most cars will due to the difference in air density. How long since the plugs have been changed? Take them out and check their condition.
The other possibility is water is getting onto the ignition system. You can buy a spray for that, halfords do it. Its ust a spray can of ignition sealant that stops any condensation or moisture getting to the ignition.
Thats all i can suggest really.

if my distributer cap was a bit worn at the connection points inside could it cause the same thing to happen?? Mazza

yea...possibly. because then water can get in between.
My advice is a full ignition service on the other bits u aint already done. Dizzy cap, rotor arm, leads etc. You have to start crossin things off.
