Well after nearly having a heart attack on saturday
after i got my nice wage popped off to the garage before work to fill my car up and it was £1.22 a liter
not happy but what can you do
on the way home passed the very same garage to my horror saw the price had gone up to £1.28 thats 6p in 8 hours!
which got me thinking about running on RME (Rapeseed Methyl Ester) which is basily diesel made from vegtable oil
its pretty easy to make and i can get rapeseed oil pretty cheap
(BTW i wont be using it in my car as its a PD engine and wont run on Bio-Diesel (not without wreaking the £400 each injectors anyway)
i was planning to make it and sell it on altho im not sure this is entirely legal il have to check on this
i do know that unless u make more 2500 liters a year then u dont need to pay fuel duty on it so customs wont mind but am unsure as to weather this includes sale
anyone have any thoughts on this or more information?
