Fitted the standard corsa alloys to my b, and noticed a shuddering when braking at high speed @ 30 it would be fine but 50-60 you get real shuddering in the steering wheel. Ive narrowed out a few things and wondered if you wizards could come up with much else:
PCD and Offset should be standard as there stock
Spigot rings arent required as the alloys sit nicely and are again stock
Wheel alignment electornically checked by the guys at northway.
Any ideas, i had no problems before i changed the wheels!
Cheers

Re: trouble after fitting alloys
shuddering at braking is usualy warped discs
if u changed the wheels latly make sure you havnt damaged the discs or calipers
Oh yea and check make sure the wheel nuts are tight
its all i have buddy sorry!

ye checked wheel nuts, il check the brakes tomorrow but as its only at high speed and the discs are relitively new it draws me away from that theory too!

Re: trouble after fitting alloys
you said you had the alingment checked, but what about balancing them?
if they arnt balanced then u would experiance the same problem the wheel would viabrate!
if you still have the original wheels try putting them back on and see if thats any better, atleast if it is you will know its the wheels
and if not you will know its the car lol
sorry bud
