Central Locking

On my car central locking isnt included in the booy is this normal? Its on a vegas. and very annoying to have to keep taking key out to get in boot

you can get a fitting kit as u cn get them remote ones that pop open wen ya press the button
dont think any corsa b's had central locking on the boot altho if i was to have a guess id say any modle that did was the CDX version
(correct me if im wrong people :lol: )

my xreg 1.2 16v club has central locking on the boot.thought all with central locking locked the boot aswell.

yea but u wud need it wiring in to your existing central locking system, which i wudnt have a clue, must b possible tho

hiya, i duno if this will be any help for ya but i have a 1.2 vegas and when i collected my car i was told tht the boot wudnt open on the central lockin, but after closer inspection the lock in the tailgate was in the locked position,

i changed this to the unlocked position and now it works fine on the central lockin.

Are you saying, unlock the boot (asif was manual) leave it unlocked (but closed) and from now on it ill open and close with central locking?

yh, give it a try m8, it has worked for mine, so it shud work for urs aswell, but if not i guess ur central lockin mechanism is knackered
