engine and engine mount question

i have a corsa b 1.2 8v 1995 and i want to put in a 1.4 16v sport engine. is this possible? i have been told i have 8v mounts so a 16v engine wouldnt fit because different mounts. is this true? can i buy the 16v mounts if i need them and just swap them over?thanks for any help on this.

im sure u cud get them, try at http://www.courtenaysport.co.uk/ they sell all vauxhall performance bits including engine mounts for conversions
or http://www.regal-shop.co.uk/ think they sell them for conversions too!

hi, i have a corsa b sport 99 plate and was wondering is it possible 2 fit a 2.5 or 2.6 v6 24v vectra gsi engine into it without copping into the dash? thanks

should be possible i seen a few 2.5 corsas before but due to the weight of the engine the chassie needs strenghtinging alot more

id say with the added weight i cnt see it being any quicker than a c20let conversion

is it possible to fit a manual gearbox in place of an automatic gearbox on a 2.5 v6 cdx engine?

I think i've heard its easier to use a cav v6 engine

Since this is a crazy question thread -

Can i put an 06 corsa VXR turbo lump in my 95 Gsi? i imagine i would need custom mounts, shafts, loom ect
What ever i'll buy, it'll be a GSi

think that would cost u a gd lump of money to do that, u may aswell just buy the newer car lol

probably be cheaper to just have a vxr
