Hand brake cable !!! SNAP!!!

Snapped 2 in as many months, Are they just a poo design? Has any one up-graded and if so to what?

They are good to do though, learn alot about how the car handles while going sideways, i would rather have the knowledge of how the car reacts while going sideways than loosing it and not knowing what to do

well lets stop showing off... i go backwards no sideways...... then forward... then backwards a little.... then forward 0-60 6.8 seconds... lol will be faster once i get wider wheels lol

Surely wider wheels would slow you down! More rubber on the road = more drag??

wider wheels = less wheel spin and more grip and wont affect perfomance in a negative way coz there gona be on 13"

also the hand break cables on old corsa's are usually frey'd i changed mine when i got it so that it would work better lol even ma dads mates went.. but onc there changed they last for a few more years lol

Yea i snapped the 1st one about a month ago, go another 1 and banged the handy on turning in2 a down hill hairpin and it just snapped hand to het on the foot brake well quick cause it just went straight, poo my self lol

its a tiny little super mini not a road going rally car!

oh and CorsaTD wider wheels WILL slow your car down, as more grip means more traction and more drag
however we are only talking .01 of a second realisticly

aye.... but may help my car take off faster still as i find it difficult to grip the road with my budget tyres im just gona get the wheels off of an old fiesta van

it will help you get the power on to the road better but you will need like you said better tyres
