Hi people,
I'm new here. So apologise for any mistakes.
I having a problem with my drivers seat, its squeky when you move the chair. I took the seat out to find it squeky still. I had a look in my haynes manual and unfortunately have no information on removing the bits from the seat.
Does anybody have any advice on sorting my problem out and how to dismantle the seat.
Thanks for your support.
Phill

Re: Front Drivers Seat (Help)
I think it down to general age of the car, that it squeks. Think it quite common on corsa b's to.
Went down to my vauxhall dealer a while ago about it and they said it not worth the money, if it that much of a problem, best getting a new car.
So decided it not much a big deal. Me car still ok.

Re: Front Drivers Seat (Help)
HMN YOUR SO UNHELPFUL SOMETIMES!!!!!!!!!!!!
ur reaction is if it makes a noise get better ones!!!
lol
ryt
there r 2 bolts bhind the seat one requires a hex head and the other requires an allen key..... before removing u will need to take off the plastic bits around the seats ull need a hex head... then u will need to put the fork which is in the maual in its place.... then remove the bolts for the seat the seat should be able to slide forward... then in hook as its hooked t the front.... the problem may be that its not been hooked properly so there for is moving slightly then when u put it back in get a lump hammer and make sure the seat goes fullyback into its proper position... then bolt it tightly to the floor....
words of advice
1. the bolts will be really tight at first as they goe right through the floor so watch u dont break them (although they are quite strong as they need to hold your seat in place)
2. put some WD-40 on them before they go back in to help them last longer ECT...
