Engine problem 1996 1.2

Hi everyone

I need some help with my son's Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 Trip, 1996.

I have serviced the car, new plugs, air filter, oil and filter yet, when the engine is under load it seems to misfire or have a hesitation in acceleration. This happens when, at a steady speed, you then floor the accelerator - for thos old enough to remember it is as though the choke is on in an old mini.

Any ideas?

have u checked/changed the coil pack? if one of the coils in the pack is down that would cause the symtoms ur having
