Good mechanic needed

Post by mattandchris »

Guys and Gals

anyone know of a good mechanic for a 96 Corsa 1.2 in the Portsmouth area - sick of cowboys pretending to know what they are doing and just charging £50 an hour whilst they drink tea

take it into a garage and ask them to scan the engine and they tell you what wrong with it. eg crank position senser faulty.. it shouldnt cost no more than £30 to scan it.. and also do you have a engine warning light on? if so get it scanned.. you wont be able to scan it your self as the systems cost over £6000+ from snap on and other dealers.

If anyone else has this problem, check out the Camshaft - I had a whole lobe missing!

£300 to fix including all parts and labour and a cambelt change so not too bad!
