tempreture plugs

hey guys, mu tempreture gauge dont work and i think i found out why, the big plug is connected but there is another wire thats menna connect onto sumat, any ideas where it connects to? can sum1 have a look on there car if they have the corsa sport. pic below cheers

Someone correct me if im wrong but doesn't that look like a possible earth wire?

If it's an exposed terminal it's an earth

bit late but looks like the temp sender wire to me, look for a small hex nut with a central brass pin with what looks like a round pin sticking out the middle, get some one to turn on ignition and watch temp gauge whilst you touch this wire agaisnt an earth point, if gauge goes right up then this wire will go on the hex temder item i just mentioned. once engines running check to see if gauge starts to creep up to normal temp .
