75% of the braking is done via the front anyway, so if anything, rear discs are purely cosmetic most of the time!

The bias is also done via a spring-valve on the rear beam, which alters the rear braking depending on how low the rear sits (so if you lower the car, it will assume there is more weight so require more breaking). You can modify the valve though by fitting a longer spring if your car is lowered.

If you fancy fitting the discs though, go for it! It won't affect nor increase any braking efficiency though.

Also, make sure the beam is actually of a corsa, as alot of people sell them from a nova saying they will fit both, when in actual fact, they won't!

good plan. to give you an idea of how little rear discs get used, my rear pads were an advisory on my mot in 2007. they were still an advisory this year, when I've been through 2 sets of predators and 1 set of ds2500s on the front!! (basically over about 10000 miles)

i think they're a waste of time. they are a pain to fit...and after 6 months they just sieze as they dont get used. just over 85% of the braking goes to the front on a corsa as std, so if you up the fronts, that will stop you well enough. the backs will just end up locking up with discs on the back!

IMO, its a waste of time , money and effort!
