K&N filter

Post by Corsab123 »

hey guys,
i have just put a K&N 57-0298 in my 1.2 sxi and i was expecting it to be slightly louder than what it was before but it sounds the same except the slight suction noise whe you dab the accelerator? is it only supposed to do this or should it sound louder and if so how can i get this sound?

if you could give me any tips that would be great, thanks :)

wont be much change because you only have a 1.2 asoon as you move up to a 1.4+ you can hear the difference... like there wouldnt be any drastic change in the proformance :)
hope this helps x

your mate got the same model as yours?.. because if so you might wanna check to see if your exhaust has a hole or maybe the fitler isnt connected 100%

to be honest, thru the winter you will feel a performance increase with the 57i cone. the cold air that is being fed to it (assuming you've fed it correctly) is more dense and so it burns better! :)

noise wise you will feel a slight increase, but the revs will free up and it should pull better.
