High Oil Consumption
Hi, i have a 1.2 16v 1999 sxi and its done 83000 miles and its using about a litre of oil every 4-5 months. Is this normal to use this much oil? If it isnt what do you think it could be? Thanks

noticed any blue smoke? on startup or under load?
has it been run dry in the past?(no oil)
could be rings - valve stem oil seals - without further investigation who knows????
have you checked for leaks ?
