i got the brakes bled, dot 5 fluid throuout. while i was doing that i noticed the handbrake looked a little scetchy, so i undid it and its hammerd, frayed to f**k

sooo i got a new one
Image

and i found a oil pressure gauge, with sender.
im not a fan of lots gauges for no reason
this one makes sense, and for £15 i dont care if it lights up fancy colors and looks tacky

small update, after realising a fuel return pipe was needed, and some sponge on top of the tank, i had to remove it.
so with that done, i got on with replacing te handbrake.
and im not sure if there are 2 lengths for a corsa, but mine was too long, so after altering a old socket witha dremel thing, and some "big hammer" modification, i now have a nice new handbrake.
Image
secondly the drivers engine mount i got, was for a 2ltr conversion
so now thats for sale and ive ordered my new correct mount.

next job was to fit the box and clutch, unfortunatly the mian oil seal looked a bit suspect, so ill replace that first

 ah the ever present question with the projects. and one that cannot be answered until the thing rolls out and you can say...yea its done!

mine had a planned completion in August...and i'm now looking at next year before its sorted.

a project ALWAYS goes over budget and over deadline!...
