i went for the BMC, just coz i want one and there carbon fibre :lol:

Green are exactly the same as K&N, but with green gauze instead...

BMC CDA is exactly the same as a K&N, but with a carbon heatshield...

end of the day, its your choice! :wave:

After seeing it all... and that they are both more or less the same i wud have to say green purely becoz it will colour coordinate wit ur car :P

green cotton air filters are top notch.

COTTON AIR FILTERS CLOG UP VERY QUICKLY IMO,BETTER OFF WITH A FOAM AIR FILTER

thats why u buy an air filter cleaning kit 8) and every time u service your car, give it a quick clean

I had a ram air it was all good till i cleaned it n it fell apart :cry:

foam does not clog as quickly as cotton...and the oil in some cleaning kits causes the airflow sensor to stop working (£280 from vaux) so i wouldnt advise spraying loads of the oil on them :(

can honestly say i have only used cotton filters so wouldnt know the advanages of foam

i got a piperx on at the minute and its foam, desperatly needs cleaning, its not sucking enough air in, actually that might be the reason why my engine management light keeps coming on for??!!
