Engine type e.g x14xe, c20xe....

could someone tell me how to find out what type of engine is in my Corsa...

i have a '94 Corsa 1.4 SRi now as far as i'm aware its a DOHC which should make it a 16v engine?

yea, if its a 16v, then it will be an xe. in which case, your 1.4 will be an x14xe.

however, im not sure they made 16v SRi's...

in general shape...as in the cam cover. the top one is a 16v engine, and the bottom is an 8v.

the 8v engine code was the c14se

it's the first pic, i've even taken the cover off the cambelt and it has 2 big cams
