lol i have a 1.0l 12v im onlygoing to spend a little on the engine (tidy it up,clean) then make it loomk nice on the outside

i dont know if it worked for me but i got it out bit tricky getting to it ill try and describe it, take the top bit of the airbox then take the tube connected to that one ooff then the next one then you come to one with wires on it thats the one you want take both sides off and inside is like a bit off mesh i think get a small screw drive upside down and smash it out lol

if thats the right thing i couldnt see anythink else it could be

just take you airbox apart until you find it its close to the top back of the engine, the part you want

okay guys... i looked in the airbox earlier.. but was a bit misled.. am i looking to take out this

i took both out from the air cleaner box

the one in the cover can be knocked out with a hammer fron the inside out so you dont have to try cracking it

the one in the bottom should just come loose with a little bit of a wriggle and force. also pull it up as it's held in on each side by what looks like 2 slides, bottom of the pipe should have a little rubber clip so it just pulls off

easy done and as far as i can tell its derestricted the box on both side as much as you possibly can.

the pic you,ve got is not properlly derestricting it! the proper restricter is on the lid of the airbox it looks like a cone! pop it out... then on the base of the airbox near the wing theres a cap thats glued on. cut this out! and you'll have a beefy roar! i havent got any pics due to ive been working hard!!

but if your still stuck ill start a new thread as a guide how to do it!
